Zidane is only focused on his side and would not complain about playing after their rivals Barcelona.
Since the La Liga returned, Los Blancos have had to play ‘catch up’ as the current schedule sees them play only after Barcelona.
The Catalan side currently hold a two-point lead over Zidane and his men but that gap has been temporarily five points on some occasions, just as it is now.
Barcelona played their first game last Saturday with Real Madrid playing theirs the following day.
Setien’s men also played their second game against Leganes since the restart on Tuesday but Real Madrid would not play theirs until Thursday.
Considering it could give Barcelona some sort of mental edge, Zidane is adamant he won’t be making any complaints regarding that.
“We’re going to play the next four matches at 10 o’clock at night – that’s not going to change,” Zidane said during his pre-match press conference via the club’s social channel on Wednesday evening.
“I am positive and I’m not going to start saying that if we play later than Barcelona, at 10… I’m happy to be playing football.”
Zidane also added that have had to adjust their training routine to fit their late kick-off times.
“We’re training at 21:30 to acclimatise to match time,” Zidane stated.
“The next four games will be played at 22:00 and it’s important to adapt to the light as well.
“We’ll see if we’re still playing at 22:00…”
