Willian is still undecided about his future at Chelsea and admits he could remain at the club even beyond this summer.
The Brazilian appeared certain to leave when his contract expires at the end of the 2019/20 season. Several of Chelsea’s Premier League rivals are already in the race to secure his signature.
The trio of Manchester United, Tottenham and Arsenal have all been linked to Willian over the past few weeks.
But after agreeing on a short-term deal to see out the remainder of the campaign with Chelsea, the 31-year-old hinted he could stay at Stamford Bridge.
“I want to finish the season well if I go, or maybe I can stay,” he told the club’s website after Chelsea’s victory over Manchester City.
“I don’t know but what I want now is to play well and for Chelsea to finish in the top four.”
Willian added: “We know teams that come from behind want to win to go in the top four as well so we have to do our job.”
