Watch now the fastest Hattrick in Premier League | Scored by Sadio Mane against Aston Villa

Mane is already making his name known at Liverpool and is without a doubt one of the world’s best attackers.

But even before he joined the Reds, he already had magic in him and allowed us witness that in full display on one occasion.

On this day in 2015, Southampton ran riot when they thumped Aston Villa by a 6-1 scoreline. But it was Sadio Mane who stole all the headlines.

Still plying his trade with the Saints, the Senegalese needed only 176 seconds to complete a hattrick. It ended Robbie Fowler’s reign as the player to have scored the Premier League’s fastest hatrick.

Mane started his quickfire hat-trick after 12 minutes and 22 seconds when he bundled home a rebound after seeing his initial shot saved.

A poor backpass allowed him to score from close range once again on 13 minutes and 46 seconds.

Mane then saved the best for last when he curled Shane Long’s pass on the edge of the area home to seal his record-breaking hat trick on 15 minutes and 18 seconds.

If you have less than three minutes to spare, you could spend that time re-watching how Mane completed that feat in amazing fashion. Video was compiled by Southampton fan account SaintsfcViews.
