Real Madrid vs Granada 1−0 | Extеndеd Hіghlіghts & All Gоals 2022.
The hosts’ lead over second-placed Sevilla has grown to six points as a result of their victory. They’ll head to Villareal next, where they’ll try to maintain their position as championship favourites. The visitors remain in 16th place, only six points above the relegation zone, following their defeat. With their next encounter, they go to Real Sociedad in the hopes of putting some distance between themselves and the relegation zone.
The hosts take all three points following an outstanding goal from Asensio. In the first half, both teams had opportunities, with the visitors coming closest after a Suarez half-volley was saved by Courtois early on, before Neva almost toed the ball into his own net from a Carvajal cross.
Fortunately for him, it hit the crossbar and bounced off before being cleared. Both Asensio and Isco came close to scoring, but the clubs headed into the halftime break goalless. In the second half, Real Madrid stepped up their game and could’ve gone up on several times if it hadn’t been for Maximiano in the Granada goal. However, he was ultimately undone in the 74th minute when Asensio scored from distance. It sailed into the far corner of the net, and it was a game-winning goal. Hazard was felled in the 78th minute, and the hosts felt they had a penalty until it was determined to be outside the area. They did, however, finish the game to earn a 1-0 victory.
