Van Dijk can’t wait to win the league and silence Liverpool’s doubters

Liverpool are only two wins away from winning the title, if the season is resumed.

Liverpool have been climbing the ladder since Jurgen Klopp joined the club and they could have clinched the title last year if not for Man City’s incredible run.

The rival fans leave no chance of mocking Liverpool for their inability to catch hold of the league title. This season though, things are about to change.

And Virgil Van Dijk is eagerly waiting for that moment.

“I have been aware of it because it has been such a while since we won the League,” Van Dijk said, according to the Mirror.

“Rival fans always talk about us not having won the Premier League and when you are at the club you get these messages as well. I just try to do my best every day whether it is in training or going out on the pitch and do everything I can to help the team.

“Other people from other clubs don’t bother us. But it’ll be nice to shut them up!”
