Cristiano Ronaldo has received praise for his longevity at the elite level of football by Khabib Nurmagomedov.
A friend of the Portuguese and supporter of his former club Real Madrid, the UFC legend took to social media to applaud Ronaldo for his ‘almost impossible’ feat of ’15 years at the top’ in football.
Khabib’s aforementioned comments came on his Instagram story next to an image of the forward after he scored twice in Juventus’ 4-0 win over Parma on Saturday.
2020 proved another productive year for the 35-year-old who continues to push boundaries regarding the capabilities of the human body.
Ronaldo made several records this year such as the fastest player to reach 50 goals in Serie A and the first player to score 50+ goals in the Serie A, La Liga, and Premier League. He also won the Golden Foot Award.
Ronaldo finished 2nd FIFA The BEST Men’s Player of the Year award behind Lewandowski and ahead of his eternal rival Lionel Messi.
