UEFA nominates Ada Hegerberg, Lucy Bronze and Amandine Henry for Women’s Player of the year.

Lucy Bronze, Ada Hegerberg and Amandine Henry all play for Olympique Lyonnais, the current UEFA Women’s Champions League Winner.

The three players were shortlisted and nominated by coaches of the 12 highest-ranked teams in the league.

Lucy Bronze is nominated for the first time, Amandine on the other hand has made the podium for the fourth time.

While Ada Hegerberg has previously won the award in 2016.

She was Lyonnais’ top scorer, scoring seven goals en route to their victory.

The Norweigen forward scored a hattrick in the final against Barcelona in their 4-1 victory over them.

The winner will be announced during 2019/20 UCL draw in Monaco on 29th of August.

Last year’s winner Pernille Harder was among the top ten players.
