“The Story Of Park’s Marriage Contract” New Stills Of Lee Se Young

On the 16th, MBC’s new Korean drama “The Story Of Park’s Marriage Contract” released new stills of Lee Se Young.

Based on the Naver web novel of the same name, “The Story Of Park’s Marriage Contract” tells the story of a contract marriage between Park Yeon Woo (played by Lee Se Young), a 19th-century Confucian girl, and Kang Tae Ha (played by Bae In Hyuk), a 21st-century chaebol, in 2023 Korea.

In the drama, Lee Se Young plays Park Yeon Woo, a Korean Confucian girl who arrives in South Korea in 2023 and becomes entangled in a contract marriage with Kang Tae Ha, exuding infinite charm as she moves between historical drama and contemporary drama.

Not only does Park lose her husband on her first night, but she is also thrown into a well by a mysterious person who causes her to cross 200 years of time.

Lee Se Young is set to break new ground with her colourful portrayal of a tomboyish Confucian girl in Joseon, struggling to adapt to a strange 21st century Korea.

In the released photos, Park Yeon Woo is seen visiting a convenience store for the first time since the 21st century.

After changing into a modern dress, Park Yeon Woo walks around the convenience store and is constantly surprised by the unfamiliar items.

From exploring the ice cream freezer outside the convenience store and sticking her head in, to eating a chocolate pie and marvelling at its incredible flavour, Park Yeon Woo is stunned by the culture of 21st century Korea.

It will be interesting to see if Park Yeon Woo, a Confucian girl from Joseon, can adapt to 21st-century Korea, and what her journey to a convenience store will be like.

Meanwhile, Lee Se Young received applause from the staff for her extraordinary acting enthusiasm during the convenience store tour scene.

In a shocking moment where Park Yeon Woo, a 19th-century Korean, sticks her head into an ice cream freezer to see what it’s for, Lee Se Young boldly demonstrates that she is amazed by modern technology.

In addition, to give realism to Park Yeon Woo’s character, who has never experienced modern civilisation, Lee Se Young ingeniously expresses her reaction to encountering new technology.

The production team said, “Lee Se Young perfectly portrays Park Yeon Woo with her unique acting and character analysis skills, enhancing the completeness of the K-drama. As she plays the lead role of ‘The Story Of Park’s Marriage Contract,’ we hope you look forward to watching Lee Se Young’s performance as she takes centre stage in the K-drama.”

“The Story Of Park’s Marriage Contract” will premiere on the 24th of November.
