With the premiere of SBS’s new Friday night drama “My Demon” (written by Choi Ah Il, directed by Kim Jang Han) just one day away, Song Kang’s agency, Namoo Actors, released behind-the-scenes stills from the poster shoot on the 23rd November.
“My Demon” is a fantasy romantic comedy that tells the story of Do Do Hee (Kim Yoo Jung), a “devilish” chaebol heiress, and Jung Gu Won (Song Kang), a “demon” who temporarily loses his powers when he enters into a contract marriage.
Song Kang’s Gu Won is a deadly, all-powerful demon who holds humans in low esteem and possesses a cold, yet warm, pure and sexy demonic charm.
For more than 200 years, he has been a top predator, making dangerous and sweet deals with human souls as collateral, until one day he becomes entangled with Do Do Hee, as Gu Won temporarily loses his powers, he is forced to protect Do Hee.
In order to capture the mood and narrative of “Jung Gu Won,” Song Kang worked hard throughout the filming, never letting go of the script, and portrayed the charm of Gu Won, who may appear harsh and cold on the outside, but on the inside, he is like a warm iced coffee.
The behind-the-scenes stills of Song Kang’s poster shoot released by his agency, Namoo Actors, are enough to catch the eyes of prospective viewers.
Song Kang, who has already transformed into Jung Gu Won himself with his gorgeous eyes, intense charisma, and warm smile, is sure to make fans fall in love with him.
It will be interesting to see how Song Kang’s surreal visuals and his character, Jung Gu Won, will appeal to the public.
“My Demon” will premiere on Friday 24th at 10pm, following “Escape of the Seven.”
