A 2-1 victory against Norwich City on Friday, thanks to a Harry Maguire header in extra time, helped Manchester United way into the last four of the FA Cup.
Meanwhile, Ross Barkley’s goal helped Chelsea earn a marginal 1-0 victory against Leicester City in another quarterfinal last night.
Scheduled to be played next month, United will face Chelsea in the semi-final of the competition.
It will be the fourth time the two teams will be up against each other this season. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side emerged victorious in each of the outings, recording 4-0 and 2-1 wins in the Premier League while beating them 2-1 in the Carabao Cup.
“They’re a team that will know a lot about us and they’re a team we know a lot about too,” he told MUTV.
“We’re looking forward to being at Wembley, any team who you draw there would be a top team anyway. I can’t wait, it’s been a while.
“We’ve played quite a few good games against them lately and we know that we’re competitive and have done really well against them. We have some really good momentum, we are building that and we’re in good form.”
