Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice as Juventus drew 2-2 against AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico
A brace from Cristiano Ronaldo was just enough to secure a point for 10-man Juventus against Roma.
Jordan Veretout converted a penalty and scored a classic counter, as Roma lead Juventus 2-1 at the break. Cristiano Ronaldo’s spot-kick was the only real threat in the first half.
Things looked like they were getting worse for Juve in the second half after Adrien Rabiot was given his marching orders.
Once again, CR7 did just enough to spare his side’s blushes.
Ronaldo hung in the air for an age to get his head to the Danilo cross, leaping above Bruno Peres, making it 2-2 for 10-man Juventus and completing his brace in the 69th minute.
With the goals, CR7 has already taken his Serie A tally for this season to three already.
