Sergio Aguero is confident that he will score the next penalty he gets for Man City.
This comes after a poor run of not scoring from penalty kicks by not just Aguero but all the takers of Man City
City have missed their last 4 consecutive penalties in the Premier League.
They missed one again in a narrow 1-0 win victory over Leicester City yesterday.
Manchester City were awarded a penalty which Agureo stepped up to take it but saw his effort saved by Schmeichel.
That meant they not only had missed their last 4 penalties but have scored only 2 from the last 7.
Guardiola has admitted that the likes of De Bruyne and surprisingly Ederson are the best penalty takers in the squad but will let the players decide who takes it for themselves.
Despite all of that, Goal reports that Aguero has told teammates he will still be the man for penalties.
Let’s hope that Aguero puts the ball back in the net when City gets another penalty.
