Inter forward, Lautaro Martinez, remains a priority target for Barcelona this summer. The Catalan giants are ready to go all out to secure his signature.
As per reports, the Inter man is fascinated at the idea of playing alongside Messi and could be interested in the move.
Martinez has already paid his compatriot Messi the ultimate compliment, admitting it is a privilege to play alongside the Barcelona captain.
A move to Barcelona would mean the 22-year-old would be team-mates with Messi for both club and country.
While many would do whatever to be team-mates with Messi, Saviola has warned Martinez it might not be all that easy to play alongside his compatriot.
The ex-Barca man used Dybala’s situation with Messi in national colours to pass his message across.
“Dybala said it was difficult with Messi and I supported him, because nobody understood what he meant,” Saviola told Goal.
“He has such a high pace that sometimes you have to have a very high level of concentration, be very aware of the play and go at the pace imposed by the team.
“You think it’s easy, but then you go at a spectacular pace.”
Regardless of all of that, Saviola still hailed Martinez as an exceptional forward.
“I like Lautaro a lot. He’s a forward I enjoy, because he’s one of those guys who can unlock a defence, and he’s not just a goalscorer,” Saviola noted.
“He plays good football and has a special way of understanding his position.”
“He’s one of the most evolved players. He could get into the Barcelona team.”
