Cristiano Ronaldo has no plans to retire in the immediate future and is looking forward to play at the highest level for a few more years.
For a man in his mid-thirties, Cristiano Ronaldo is doing extraordinarily well for Juventus and Portugal. He actually beats his companions, including those at least 10 years his lesser. So is there any valid reason why he shouldn’t play into his forties?
16 Goals in just 14 Matches for Juventus this season demonstrates that age hasn’t held back the Portuguese extraordinary down.
“I will be 36 [on February 5] and day in and day out, I have always done what I have been doing for the past few years,” said Cristiano.
“I don’t plan to stop anytime soon, not in the next two or three years. All this involves a lot of sacrifices and pain, but in the end, it is all worth it.”
