Brazilian legend Ronaldinho Gaucho is in prison in Paraguay for using a fake passport.
Both the player and his brother are being held in the Agrupación Especializada prison in Paraguay.
No timeline has been confirmed as to just how long the Brazilian and his sibling will be held.
However, ironically the penitentiary that they currently call home is famous for the inhouse futsal championship it holds for inmates.
This is not a publicity stunt by the prison, they actually hold legitimate prisoners only competition twice a year.
But according to Extra, the prison chief does not believe Ronaldinho will take part. Commissioner Blas Vera said:
“We don’t expect Ronaldinho to participate, but we would like him to attend.”
