Real Madrid look to sign a youngster as Casemiro backup

Casemiro has a reputation at Madrid for being a work-house and the club have depended on him thoroughly over the past seasons.

This season, it’s been no different and the Brazilian continues to be a very important piece in the Los Blancos midfield puzzle.

So far, Casemiro has played 2340 La Liga minutes and 3120 minutes for Real Madrid in all competitions.

Zidane has tried to play Fede Valverde in Casemiro’s role but the youngster has failed to be an imposing presence like the Brazilian.

And as per Marca, Real Madrid look to seek cover in order for Casemiro to rest from time to time.

Los Blancos may look to sign a younger but more experienced player in Rennes’ 17-year-old prodigy Eduardo Camavinga.

The teenager already has a good number of minutes under his belt for Rennes and is a player with potential.
