Real Madrid will not wait until the very end and have already started contacting their players personally regarding the issue of pay-cuts, caused by the ongoing pandemic.
In the La Liga, the likes of Barcelona, Valencia and Osasuna have already taken measures, with both clubs already hit financially by the lack of match-day revenue.
It is reported that Real Madrid are still in a good financial state but could end up losing as much as €150m in this period.
Real Madrid insist they don’t want to take the legal route of an ERTE (which would see players take 70% cuts).
But are also looking at possible options that could help the club move through the crisis from a financial perspective.
