“Queen of Tears” Park Seong-hoon was indeed Lee Mi-sook’s son.

In the 8th episode of the tvN weekend drama “Queen of Tears,” which aired on the 31st, Baek Hyun-woo (played by Kim Soo-hyun) tearfully said to Hong Hae-in (played by Kim Ji-won), who hugged him without remembering that they had been to Germany:
“I hope this moment doesn’t end. I want this time to continue when you look at me and smile without knowing anything. Don’t be surprised, listen. We went to Germany. It wasn’t a condition that could be treated.”
To this, Hong Hae-in replied, “Unbelievable. How could I forget something like that? Are you saying I don’t remember anything? Even if it’s painful, it’s unfair.”
Baek Hyun-woo explained, “Sometimes people completely forget things they should remember, even if they’re not physically ill. I did the same. I had completely forgotten everything.”
He continued, “I secretly prepared divorce papers. You found out about it in Germany, and that’s why we’ve been having a hard time recently.”

In the Korean drama “Queen of Tears”, Song Joong-ki made a special appearance as the divorce lawyer Vincenzo representing Kim Ji-won’s character, Hong Hae-in.
In the show, Hong Hae-in is divorcing her husband, Baek Hyun-woo (played by Kim Soo-hyun), and Vincenzo is her formidable attorney.
The K-drama humorously portrays Vincenzo as a mysterious figure with a dark reputation.
Rumors circulate about him being the youngest son of a chaebol family, a military officer deployed overseas, and even an extraterrestrial who arrived on a spaceship.
However, his real identity is that of a mafia boss. When Vincenzo meets Baek Hyun-woo and his lawyer friend Kim Yang-gi (played by Moon Tae-yoo), he leaves them astonished by his intimidating presence.
Vincenzo speaks Italian and doesn’t negotiate verbally during legal proceedings.
Despite his fearsome reputation, he surprises everyone by revealing that the main reason for Hong Hae-in’s divorce is simply personality differences.
He suggests that they part amicably and bless each other’s futures. Meanwhile, Baek Hyun-woo discovers the relationship between Yoon Eun-sung (played by Park Sung-hoon) and Mo Seol-hee (played by Lee Mi-sook).
The drama unfolds with corporate power struggles and personal relationships in the backdrop of a resort business.
Gradually, Baek Hyun-woo’s position at the company is weakened. Hong Hae-in observed Baek Hyun-woo’s struggles within the company and said, “Why don’t you negotiate? Demand something as a condition for leaving the company. Why endure this humiliation? When you secretly prepared divorce papers, you must have wanted to escape. When we lived together, you endured it because you had no other choice.”
Despite this, Kim Soo-hyun expressed concern for Kim Ji-won’s health, saying, “I’m doing what I want to do.”
Baek Hyun-woo’s ally turned out to be his aunt, Hong Beom-ja.
Baek Hyun-woo vowed to find out who bugged the chairman’s room and who was trying to force him out of the company.
Hong Beom-ja revealed that Mo Seol-hee had a child who could potentially be Yoon Eun-sung.
Hong Man-dae, the chairman, eventually transferred his power of attorney to Mo Seol-hee, leading to her ousting Hong Beom-ja.
However, it was revealed that Mo Seol-hee’s son was indeed Yoon Eun-sung. Baek Hyun-woo advised Chairman Hong Man-dae to remove certain clauses from the contract.
But Chairman Hong Man-dae collapsed after ingesting the poison planted by Mo Seol-hee. Mo Seol-hee confidently stated that she had won, revealing her true intentions.
As the legal guardian, she now had control over the Queens Group. The entire Hong family, including Hong Hae-in, was ousted from the company, and they eventually entered Baek Hyun-woo’s hometown, Yongduri, shocking Hyun-woo’s family.
