Pyo Ye Jin has been selected as the female lead of the new drama “I Openly Dream of Cinderella” (working title).
“I Openly Dream of Cinderella” is a romantic comedy drama by hit maker Baek Mi Kyung, about a woman who dreams of becoming Cinderella due to difficulties in her life and wants to escape from her harsh reality. She meets a knight in shining armor (‘prince on a white horse’) who does not believe in love as they draw closer to each other and help each other through their difficulties.
“I Openly Dream of Cinderella” has been garnering attention since the planning stage with the news that hit maker Baek Mi Kyung will be joining as a creator. Baek Mi Kyung is a star writer who has captured the hearts of audiences through her dramas “Woman of Dignity (2017),” “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon (2017),” and “Mine (2021),” among others.
In the drama, Pyo Ye Jin plays Shin Jae Rim, the manager of a social club. The story will tell the tale of a woman who dreams of being Cinderella. The drama will depict her transformation into a woman who embraces her life and becomes braver instead of craving the love of others.
