Premier League matches could be held in empty stadiums due to coronavirus.

The FA and Premier League have held talks and some are reporting that all the remaining games could be played in empty stadiums.

These measures could be implemented to curtail the coronavirus which has affected games in other European Leagues.

Serie A and the Swiss League season’s have already been affected due to covid-19 and it could affect Premier League as well.

Health authorities have said to stop the spread of virus, one of the major precautions is to limit mass gatherings to a barest minimum.

Rather than stopping the Premier League from going on, it’s being reported that the remaining games could be played in empty stadium.

Insiders say the FA will follow the advice of health and safety officials.

Smaller clubs will be given solidarity payments as they largely depend on gate fees of stadium.

As of now, the Premier League will go on normally, but this decision could be made over the course of the month.
