Andrea Pirlo has yet to undertake a new challenge since retiring, and while he jokes about going to Barcelona he does admit there have been offers.
Pirlo has been retired from football for over two years now. But as yet has yet to take the plunge on a new challenge.
Taking the next step is something that Pirlo has alluded to in the past but as yet nothing.
However, in a recent Instagram Q&A, he did with former teammate Fabio Cannavaro he clears up a few things as well as cracking a joke, but insists that the offer must be the right one.
He said:
“No. Look, I have a lot of requests.”
“Seriously, I have staff ready because maybe they call me from abroad before.”
“Barcelona is waiting for me.”
“No, you do not want to make mistakes with the first choice, I have had some offers.”
