Olmo not happy with Barcelona for their transfer conduct

Dani Olmo spent time at Barcelona’s famed youth academy La Masia, and following his impressive performances at Dinamo Zagreb many clubs were interested in him.

But Olmo eventually joined RB Leipzig to complete a €25 million. He has already registered his first goal and assist in his new colors and has managed to keep up his good form.

Barca was also one of the options for him but the 21-year old revealed that he did not think they were seriously interested in securing his transfer.

“I had the sense that they were not seriously interested in me,” Olmo told Mundo Deportivo.

“In November, they talked to my agent like they wanted to get it done quickly, but then all of a sudden it was moved. Then, in January, just as I was going to Leipzig, they asked me to wait again. But I had already made a decision.

“I wanted to go to a team that offered me a perspective. Leipzig was able to do that, other teams weren’t. I have no regrets. I think this was the best option for me and still is.”
