Frank Lampard has shown faith in Oliver Giroud in recent times and he has been doing wonders.
He added another goal to his tally in the 4-0 demolition of Everton at the Stamford Bridge.
It has been a great turnaround for the striker who just in January wanted to leave Chelsea to look for new pastures.
He stayed put at the club and now the Frenchman insists he is happy having found his place back in the team and is open to prolonging his stay.
“I have two, three nice seasons in front of me. It’s not the time to talk about contracts. But one more time I will take a decision when it comes,” Giroud said, according to the Mirror.
“It’s behind me. It was a tough month for me. I do my job the best that I can and I’m very happy to be back in the team. Of course, my confidence is better. The transfer window is behind me.
“I’m a Chelsea player. I’m happy here again and that’s the most important thing.”
