Real Madrid has released a statement confirming the departure of defender Achraf Hakimi for Inter Milan.
The player who has been on loan at Borussia Dortmund was pictured in Milan having a medical only 24 hours ago.
While there is no word from Inter just yet, Los Blancos has made it official.
The La Liga giants said of the Moroccan international’s departure:
“Real Madrid C. F. and Inter Milan have reached an agreement over the transfer of Achraf Hakimi.”
“The club wishes to thank Achraf for his many years of dedication, professionalism, and exemplary conduct since he joined our academy in 2006 and wishes him all the very best in this new chapter.”
The deal is said to be worth 40 million Euros plus another five million in add-ons.
