In 1920s during the Japanes colonial period, the action drama ‘Song of the Bandits’ released a poster for the bandits who united to protect their loved ones and their lives.
The poster shows Lee Yoon (Kim Nam Gil), Choi Choong Soo (Yoo Jae Myung), Kang Sang Gun, Cho Rang, and Geum Soo, who have become bandits to protect their families. With their respective weapons and the wasteland as a backdrop, the tension and determination of the bandits can be felt in the moment as they face off against someone.
Kim Nam Gil, who plays Lee Yoon in the drama, uses a Winchester as his main weapon. “In a western, it’s a Winchester,” says Kim Nam Gil. It fits well with the character of Lee Yoon, and I worked hard on training myself, so I can use the gun technically and not just loading it and shooting it,” he said.
Choi Choong Soo, played by Yoo Jae Myung, is a former military commander who wields the bow Black Gakgung and the sword Hwan-do and is the backbone of the bandits.
With a poster of the bandits promising exhilarating action, Song of the Bandits will be released exclusively on Netflix on 22 September.
