Napoli will face Juventus in the Coppa Italia final next week in Rome.
Dries Mertens fired Gattuso’s side with his goal which turned out to be the winning goal for them as he scored a crucial equaliser.
Fabian Ruiz had scored a goal in the first leg before the pandemic resulted in Football being suspended.
In the game Inter Milan went ahead and tied the semi-final on aggregate with a goal from Eriksen right from the corner.
Christian Eriksen’s corner slipped through the players and in between the legs of Ospina in to the goal.
Mertens though converted from a pass from Insigne to score his 122nd goal for Napoli and level the tie 1-1, which meant he was the sole top scorer in club’s history having moved past Marek Hamsik.
Ospina at fault for the first goal made some key saves late on to deny Lukaku and Candreva. He also played a role in the goal as it was his pass which kick-started the counter-attack resulting in goal.
After making a save he kicked the ball towards Isigne precisely who then squared it to Mertens.
Napoli will now face Juventus in the Coppa Italia final in Rome next Wednesday.
