Mourinho: “There’s no one to blame for this performance”

Tottenham Hotspur played an awful game against RB Leipzig, with Jose’s side getting thrashed 3-0 in the second leg of the tie.

The game was totally one-sided, Red Bull dominated the whole 90 minutes.

The Portuguese later was adamant that no individual is to blame.

While he admits there were mistakes, in an interview with BT Sports, Mou believes that his players are doing all they can.

Mourinho considers the circumstances such as injury problems and insists his players are giving their all.

He said:

“If I can be critical of some of my players, I keep this for us. They tried to give what they can give.”

“We made mistakes, mistakes that we have analyzed in previous matches.”

” I never blame players with some difficulties.”

“It’s hard for me to cope with players who cannot express their potential, not those who are at their limit.”

“I am with the boys.”

“There is nobody to blame.”

“In every match, we have a traumatic injury. That’s the history of this season.”

“It is non-stop. Look at our bench tonight. It is very hard. I cannot blame the players.”
