Juventus fell short of a goal as they succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to Hellas Verona earlier in February in Serie A.
Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring in the second half but goals from Fabio Borini and Giampaolo Pazzini later in the game helped the hosts snatch all three points from the reigning champions.
Ronaldo, being someone who doesn’t settle for anything less than a win, was furious with the results despite having managed to find the back of the net in his tenth consecutive match.
And the Hellas Verona captain says it was a sight to behold as he admits to having derived pleasure from the Portuguese’s misfortune.
“The thrill of beating Cristiano Ronaldo? Beautiful, because I know him and I know he doesn’t like losing,” Veloso said via his Instagram account.
“Seeing him angry was quite nice, even if we talked after the game.”
