Man United receive massive financial boost in Cristiano Ronaldo hunt

Cristiano Ronaldo could finally rejoin Manchester United after this season with a financial helping hand from their sponsor.

Chevrolet is interested in funding the superstar footballer’s transfer to United with the view that his move could be of great commercial advantage, according to Auto Esporte.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has had a huge positive impact on the sales of Jeep, Juventus’ sponsor and American automobile manufacturer, over the last two years. Also, Juve’s stocks saw a 30 percent raise just a week after he joined the club.

Chevrolet now wish to reap the marketing benefits that the player can offer, and their motives could pave way for CR7’s homecoming to Old Trafford.

Juventus are finding it increasingly hard to afford Ronaldo, who takes home a whopping £500,000-a-week wages, amid the financial crisis due to the ongoing pandemic, and could therefore make him available for transfer at the end of this season.

It was while at Manchester United that the 35-year-old announced himself to the world.

Other than the Sporting fans and probably a few scouts, no one really knew who he was when he first signed for Manchester United prior to the 2003-04 season.

With the help of Sir Alex Ferguson, and his own determination and hunger, he initiated his extraordinary journey of becoming perhaps the best football player of all time.

After six years at the club and after winning the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, a Ballon d’Or, FIFA World Player of the Year, UEFA Club Footballer of the Year, European Golden Shoe, Puskas Award, and a host of other honors, Ronaldo left for Real Madrid in 2009.

  1. Well although he started from Manchester United but if he thinks, he can help them discover their passed glory by the grace of God, he can go ahead with that plan. He can make the difference.
