Mohamed Salah is in the final year of his current Liverpool contract. For months, the club has been negotiating on a contract extension. They have yet to reach an arrangement with the Egyptian superstar, however.
Jurgen Klopp addressed Salah’s contract predicament ahead of his side’s upcoming match against Arsenal.

“We know what Mo wants to communicate, and we want Mo to stay,” said the group.
“That’s where we’re at right now.” These things take time, and I’m afraid I won’t be able to change that. “I believe everything is in order.”
“I’m extremely positive about it, but I don’t think it’s fair to talk on behalf of the fans,” the manager said when asked if he believes the club would reach an agreement with Salah. The audience is not as jittery as you are.
“They’re familiar with the club and the folks that deal with things here.” I think it’s a good idea, but we can’t say anything until it’s implemented. That’s all I have to say about good conversations.”
