La Liga: RCD Mallorca vs Barcelona predicted line up, Key stats | June 13

After a long three month with no football, La Liga restarted on June 11th and now league leaders Barcelona will restart their campaign as they face RCD Mallorca on an away trip to the Son Moix Stadium.

Barcelona have not been at their best this season but still see themselves top of the table with a two point lead over Real Madrid.

Quique Setien will be hoping that his side will start their campaign again with a bang and keep the title at Camp Nou.

Mallorca are looking to stay in the league as they are currently sitting at 18th on the La Liga table having picked up just 25 points from 27 matches.

Barcelona beat Mallorca 5-2 courtesy of a Lionel Messi hattrick in the reverse fixture and they will be hoping for the same again meanwhile Mallorca will be hoping they could muster a better performance at home and get points to keep them in the La Liga.

There are no many injury concerns for Mallorca heading into this weekend with the hosts only missing Leonardo Koutris and Lumor Agbenyenu.

Moreno has been deploying a five man defence at the back which was succesfull the last time out as they won 2-1 against Eibar and will most likely field the same formation this weekend.

In between the sticks will be 35 year old Manolo Reina and in the heart of defence will be Antonio Raillo, Aleksandar Sedlar and Martin Valjent flanked by Fran Gamez and Alejandro Pozo.

In midfield will be the duo of Iddrisu Baba and Salva Sevilla and Kubo will be looking to connect the front line with the midfield playing behind two strikers in a free role.

The strikers upfront will be Cucho Hernandez and Mallorca’s top scorer Ante Budimir.

Setien will be happy as he has almost a full squad at his disposal for this match with only Ousmane Dembele out for Barcelona. Luis Suarez has recovered and is fully fit. Clement Lenglet will miss the match with a suspension.

At the goalkeeper position it will be most probably be Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Barca’s undisputed goalkeeper. Pique and Umtiti will start in the middle of the defence with Alba at left and Roberto at Right as Semedo missed a training after breaking coronavirus protocols.

Busquets will start in the middle of the midfield being flanked by de Jong and Arthur Melo.

Surez, Messi and Griezmann will form the trident in attack although Suarez may not feature for full 90 minutes.
