Kevin De Bruyne has been rumored to be considering his future at Manchester City.
The stories gained credence following the club’s two-year ban from the Champions League.
While City is appealing the punishment, the player has expressed concern that at the age of 29 losing two years of opportunity to win the Champions League is concerning.
However, he still has a lengthy contract with last year’s Premier League Champions and his agent has now insisted that talk of seeking a move from the Etihad Stadium is nothing more than “rubbish.”
Speaking to Sporza, he said: “At the moment he is not at all busy with that.”
“He still has a three-year contract with a team that belongs at the top of the world, at a club, and in a city where Kevin feels good and appreciated.”
“There will be many people who find this woolly, but he’s not thinking about a transfer.”
De Koster admits regular informal inquiries are only natural in a player of the Belgian superstar’s quality. However, he also describes most of what is printed untrue.
He added:
“There is always an informal interest for a good player in the football world.”
“Whether that is KDB or Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo or Antoine Griezmann.”
“If everything I read in the papers were correct, then I would need a 48-hour watch and be all over the world at the same time.”
“I can declare in good conscience here and even swear on my children’s head that everything I read is 90% rubbish.”
