Kdrama “Kiss For No Reason” Confirms Jang Ki Yong and Ahn Eun Jin As Its Leads

Jang Ki-yong and Ahn Eun-jin have been confirmed as the leading pair in the upcoming SBS drama titled ‘Kiss for No Reason’, which is set to premiere in 2025.

This romantic story revolves around a single woman who takes on the role of a mother to secure her livelihood, and the team leader who unexpectedly falls for her.

Directed by Kim Jae-hyun, known for his work on ‘The Thousand Won Lawyer’, and co-written by Ha Yoon-ah and Tae Kyung-min, who have previously collaborated on projects like ‘Mystic Pop-up Bar’ and ‘Showtime From Now On!’, the drama is generating significant anticipation among fans.

On January 23, the casting of the two main characters was announced, sparking excitement for their on-screen chemistry.

Jang Ki-yong will portray Gong Ji-hyeok, the head of the Mother TF team at a childcare product company. He is characterized by his sharp intellect, sound judgment, and passionate approach to his work.

However, he finds himself torn between an ‘impossible love’ and an ‘inevitable love’ due to his feelings for Ko Da-rim, a woman who leaves a lasting impression with a kiss that feels like a natural disaster.

Jang Ki-yong has built a reputation as a talented actor with star appeal through his performances in various dramas, including ‘Come and Hug Me’ and ‘Now, We’re Breaking Up’, and his captivating presence is expected to shine in ‘Kiss for No Reason’.

Meanwhile, Ahn Eun-jin takes on the role of Ko Da-rim, a married woman who goes undercover as a mother within the same company, driven by her desire to protect her family.
