Kai Havertz has emerged as one of the hottest properties to come out of Germany over the past couple of years.
His breakout season last year with Bayer Leverkusen at the tender age of 19, placed all of Europe’s elite clubs on alert.
It was believed that his compatriot Jurgen Klopp was interested in the young midfielder coming to Liverpool.
Arsenal saw him as the ideal replacement for Mesut Ozil. While Real Madrid envisaged him as a young Toni Kroos.
However, it now appears that the player is keen to stay in his native Germany with the Bundesliga’s top side Bayern Munich.
According to Sky Sports the player has made up his mind and the deal could go through this summer.
