Cruciate knee ligament damage brought an early end to his season. Before his injury, he was linked with moves to all three Spanish giants, Barca, Real and Atleti.
Speaking to Marca, while he admits he would like to play alongside the likes of Messi.
The Argentine forward dreams only of playing football again. He said:
“I was only thinking about achieving survival with Osasuna.”
“I didn’t think about those things.”
“Maybe when I’m back my agent he will tell me things.”
“Everyone would like to play with Messi because he’s the best in the world.”
“But it’s not a dream.”
“I play every game as if it’s my last.”
“So every day I get up with more strength and desire to come through this.”
