Borussia Dortmund skipper Marco Reus has urged Jadon Sancho to prolong his stay at the club and give more time to developing himself before opting for a move away.
20-year old Sancho has been lighting up the Bundesliga ever since his arrival back in 2017 and has become one of the most outstanding talents.
The English forward has been heavily linked with a move back to the Premier League as of late with Manchester United increasingly looking to be his next destination.
But Reus has warned Sancho against rushing into quitting Signal Iduna Park in the summer.
“Jadon is an outstanding player and will definitely remain in demand by many clubs. That is a fact,” Reus told German publication Sport Bild.
“I would advise him to stay at BVB for another year, maybe two. From my point of view, there is no better place for him at the moment. He would have to find his place at a new club, which isn’t always easy for a 20-year-old.
“Just how interesting do you think Jadon will be for the biggest clubs if he spends one, two or three years more here to develop further?”
