Harry Kane set tongues wagging a couple of months ago when he said he would consider his future at Tottenham if they could not fulfill his ambitions.
The obvious suitors were Manchester United, who have been linked with a move for Kane on several occasions over the years.
The Red Devils are without a league title since the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson and in all honesty, have never even been contenders either.
As Ole Gunnar Solskjaer tries to rebuild things for United, the former frontman Louis Saha believes his old club must move for Kane if he comes on the market.
The retired Frenchman believes a player of Kane’s caliber can be the deciding factor when it comes to winning titles.
Speaking to Compare Bet, he said:
“When you’re talking about Harry Kane, a proper striker.”
“When you see how many goals he scores each season, I would be stupid not to consider him.”
“He’s a world-class striker. I know Werner is quite young, but he’s a prolific goalscorer.”
“There’s definitely talent out there in the league and we have to catch up, we need a guaranteed 30-goal striker who is able to create some magic out of nothing.”
“Like Van Persie was able to do, this is what wins titles.”
