Georgina Rodriguez, the Portuguese forward’s girlfriend, responded recently to his completing 2023 as the top scorer.
In the Saudi Pro League on Tuesday, December 26, Ronaldo led Al-Nassr to a 5-2 victory over Karim Benzema’s Al-Ittihad with two braces. The Portuguese attacker had one goal less than Kylian Mbappe and Harry Kane, who both had 52 goals this calendar year, before the game.
With no games left for Bayern Munich or Paris Saint-Germain, the former Real Madrid player is expected to finish the year as the top scorer in 2023 with 53 goals.
A video of Ronaldo was posted by Al-Nassr’s official Instagram account to commemorate the Portuguese forward’s achievement. The post’s caption said:
“The Record’s Ultimate He’s completed it. Cristiano Ronaldo, the captain of Al Nassr, scores his 53rd goal against Ittihad today, making him the highest scorer in the world in 2023. He outscored Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe, who both had 52 goals.”
Following the video’s release, Georgina Rodriguez, Ronaldo’s longterm girlfriend, complimented the former Manchester United player and shared the film on her Instagram story.
She penned:

Ronaldo, who joined Al-Nassr in January, has been an integral part of Luis Castro’s squad. In 24 games this season, he has netted 23 goals and provided 11 assists for the Knights of Najd.
