Borussia Dortmund suffered two major blows during the clash against Bayern Munich on Tuesday, apart from facing a set back in the title race after sustaining a 1-0 defeat.
A knee problem forced Erling Haaland to leave the pitch after 72 minutes. Mahmoud Dahoud also had to come off five minutes prior to the ninety-minute mark after taking an unwanted knock.
Speaking in his press conference, as posted on the club’s official Youtube channel, Lucien Favre stated that both the players will sit out the trip to Paderborn on the weekend and that Dahoud will not feature again this season.

“Unfortunately, Mo Dahoud will miss the rest of the season,” he said. “We found out the day after the Bayern game. He felt something and has a little problem. It’s not bad, but he can’t continue.
“Erling Haaland will also be unavailable against Paderborn.”
Haaland has been in blazing form having scored 10 goals in 11 games for Dormund in Bundesliga.
