In a show of solidarity the English FA lit up Wembley stadium in Italy’s colors.
Italy has been one of the worst countries hit so far by the pandemic. While England is now starting to show signs of major issues too.
But it appears that nothing can keep football down, and in a show of support to their Italian counterparts, England took an unprecedented step.
The English FA lit the famous Wembley arch in the colors of the absent visitors.

Simply stating:
“We may not be sharing the pitch tonight but we stand together and united in this difficult time.”
Italy’s green, white and red were emblazoned on the arch, with a sign that read:
“We are separated, but we are together. Forza Italia.”
The Azzurri were touched by the gesture, issuing a message of gratitude:
