Diego Simeone sends advice to fans on coronavirus

Over 5000 cases of Coronavirus have been registered in Spain alone in the past few weeks, with more than 100 confirmed deaths.

The spread of COVID-19 has already taken a massive toll across the globe. Footballing calendar in all the major leagues has been suspended.

Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone took to Twitter in order to spread awareness about the virus.

He urged the fans to act in accordance with the prescribed safety measures and stay at home as much as possible.

“I wanted to send you a message of awareness,” Simeone said in a video message.

“From my home, I invite you all to follow the path set by the experts, taking care of ourselves and all of those around us. Let’s stay at home.”
