Davide Zappacosta is on loan to AS Roma from Chelsea for the 2019/20 season.
He sustained an injury that all but ended his season.
As he works to get back to full fitness, he admits his future is uncertain, but merely want the opportunity to prove his worth.
He has no regrets about life at Chelsea and admits his time in London was hugely successful. But Zappacosta is determined to show the Giallorossi what he can really do.

Speaking to Sky Sports Italia he said:
“On a personal level, I would love to stay in Rome for several reasons.”
“The main one is that I want to show the fans, my team-mates, and the management who I am and what I can do.”
“I have worked a lot in these months, I have trained and I have made sacrifices to be available at the restart of the championship.”
“I am doing some sessions completely dedicated to the knee because it takes time to recover better from this injury. But now I feel 90 percent fit.”
Zappacosta is contracted to Chelsea until 2022 and would have no problem returning to the Premier League.
He added:
“England and Chelsea have given me a lot.”
“I had the chance to play with great champions and win two trophies.”
“The Premier League is a championship where people never give up.”
