Cristiano Ronaldo responds to rumors about his Juventus future

Cristiano Ronaldo is rumoured to be leaving Juventus this summer, with Manchester United or PSG being two possible destinations.

In contrast to previous years, the Portugal legend believes the rumours have no bearing on his performance at the Euros. Perhaps in the past, his future was a source of concern for him.

He is, however, 36 years old and already capable of controlling any type of pressure that is applied to him.

When asked about this topic, he made it clear that he didn’t agree with the journalist’s intent.

But now that Ronaldo is a seasoned pro, he knows how to address these concerns without evading a response. In fact, Cristiano’s response was courteous, and he even left the possibility of speculation open.

The truth is, we won’t know what Cristiano will do until Portugal’s European Championship campaign concludes this summer.

When asked about the rumors affecting his game

“I’ve been playing at the highest level for 18 years, that doesn’t even bother me. Whatever happens, it will be for the best. Regardless of whether I stay [at Juventus] or leave, that’s not the most important thing at the moment. I’m focused on my national team, because you don’t play a competition of this magnitude every day. It’s my fifth European Championship, but in my mind it’s as if it’s my first.
