It is common knowledge how important Ronaldo has been for Juventus since his arrival at the club in 2018.
The debate as to whether the Bianconeri should have signed CR7 or invested that cash to buy more players for other areas on the pitch is one that continues to linger on.
However, Ronaldo has proven to be influential for Juventus, and his goal count surely proves that. This season, his ‘importance’ to the team is even on the rise.
CR7 continued his evergreen form with a goal against Spezia to take him to 20 Serie A goals for the season.
Following his latest strike, a closer look showed that Ronaldo’s 20 goals amount for 41.6 percent of Juventus’ 48 league goals this term.
Only Lewandowski, with 28 goals from Bayern’s 67 league goals scored is just about on par with CR7 at 41.7 percent.
Also, Juventus’ win rate goes down by far when Ronaldo is not on the pitch compared to when he is on it.
He is not just scoring goals but has, perhaps, also been the most ‘influential’ forward around in Europe’s top five leagues this term.
