Now onto Manchester United’s new Portuguese talent Bruno Fernandes who has made a great start to his Old Trafford career. Three goals and four assists have come his way in just nine appearances.
And upon completing his long-awaited €55m transfer in January, Fernandes revealed how he always dreamed of following Ronaldo’s footsteps in Manchester.
“I’m a Cristiano Ronaldo fan and he’s a player I’ve always followed,” said Bruno.
“When Cristiano burst on to the scene here in Manchester, he spent a good chunk of his early career here and enjoyed so much success.
“That’s why it was a dream of mine to play for Manchester United.”
