Cristiano Ronaldo earnings at Juventus revealed

Juventus have the highest wage bill in Serie A at £214 million, and a sizeable chunk of that sum goes to Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo is not only one of the best players in the world at present but also one of the greatest in the history of the game – and his salary reflects that.

He reportedly is on a £540,000-a-week (roughly €600k) wages at Juventus which amounts to £28 million (nearly €32m) per year.

The Portugal captain’s mouthwatering wages are higher than or equal to the squad bills of Udinese, Hellas Verona, Spezia, and Crotone, which is a ridiculous stat in itself.

He is the highest earner in Serie A and, according to a report by La Gazzetta dello Sport [via The Sun], earns four times more than than the next best-paid player – teammate Matthijs de Ligt.

De Ligt takes home £7.2 million each year (€8m) which comes to £138,000 per week (about €155k) while Paulo Dybala comes in at third, pocketing £6.6 million-a-year (almost €7.5m).

After Juventus, Inter Milan have the biggest wage bill at £135m-a-year followed by AS Roma (£101m) Napoli (£95m), and AC Milan (£81m).

Antonio Conte is the highest-earning manager in Serie A with a £10.8m-a-year salary, with Paulo Fonseca (£2.2m) and Gian Piero Gasperini (£1.9m) making the top-three.
