This season may be coming to an end but Cristiano Ronaldo is far from done rewriting history books as he could break another 4 records.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been breaking records all his life so it’s not new to him, regarded by many as the Greatest Football player of all time.
He has stamped his name in history books like no other with his relentless pursuit to become better and continue to improve in addition to his hunger for success.
As he recently overtook Portuguese footballer Rui Costa to become highest goal-scoring Portuguese in the history of Serie A.
So here are four other records that Ronaldo can break before the season ends.
Most Consecutive away games scored in a Serie A season | 9
Ronaldo already holds the record for this but with another player Giuseppe Signori who scored for Lazio in 1992/93 season . Cristiano matched it last season and now he will be looking to make the record his own as he has scored in 7 consecutive away games this season, with his latest against Bologna.
The run began back when he scored against Lazio on December 7 and he will be looking to continue and eventually score in 10 consecutive away games in a season.
Most Hat-tricks in Champions League | 8
Ronaldo and Messi both have scored 8 hattricks in Champions League’s history and CR7 will be looking to one-up his rival this season.
Juventus face Lyon on 7th of August when Champions League finally returns this season and as Juve are a goal down they will be hoping their talisman scores in the return leg.
Last season in the Round of 16 when Juve were 2 goals behind, it was Ronaldo who scored hat-trick against Atletico to help them reach the Quarterfinals and they will be hoping he scores another one against Lyon.
Most goals in all comps for Juventus in a single season | 35
The current holder for this record is Ferenc Hirzer, as he scored 35 goals during the 1925/26 season to help Juventus win their second league titles.
Cristiano has scored 26 goals this season in 35 games and he will be looking to break this record as their are at least 12 more games Juventus can play this season.
First player to win Golden Boot in England, Spain and Italy
Cristiano is second in standings for Serie A goalscoring list behind Ciro Immobile.
Ciro has scored 27 goals and Ronaldo is five behind him with 11 games to go. It will be one hell of a race to look forward and we hope that he can catch up to Immobile to win the prize.
If he is able to pull it off then Cristiano Ronaldo will become the first player to win Golden Boot in England, Spain and Italy.
