“Crash Course in Romance” starring Jeon Do Yeon and Jung Kyung Ho premiered on January 14 to a 4.0 percent average countrywide rating. “Crash Course in Romance” also won its time slot across all channels, including public broadcast networks, among the important demographic of viewers aged 20 to 49, with a nationwide average of 2.1 percent.
JTBC’s “Agency” and SBS’s “Payback” both reached new highs last night. Lee Bo Young’s new drama “Agency” soared to a 6.5 percent average nationwide rating for its third episode, while Lee Sun Gyun and Moon Chae Won’s “Payback” was the most-watched miniseries of the week, with a 9.6 percent average nationwide rating.
“Red Balloon” on TV Chosun also received its highest ratings to date for a Saturday, when ratings are normally lower than on Sundays. The newest episode of the hit drama received a 6.7 percent average countrywide rating.
With only two episodes remaining, MBC’s “The Forbidden Marriage” had a 3.8 percent average nationwide rating coming into the final week of its run.
KBS 2TV’s “Three Bold Siblings” maintained its lead as the most-watched show on Saturday, with a 21.9 percent average nationwide rating.
