Inter Milan slipped further behind in the Serie A title race following their 2-1 loss against Bologna San Siro at the weekend.
Romelu Lukaku gave his side the lead in the first half but it only turned out to be a consolation goal as Musa Juwara and Musa Barrow struck in the final 16 minutes, on either side Alessandro Bastoni’s sending off, to help Bologna snatch all three points.
Antonio Conte’s men are now four points behind second-placed Lazio and a massive 11 points behind leaders Juventus.
Conte was extremely disappointed with his team’s display. Talking to the media only after spending about an hour in the changing room, he also admitted he too needs to do self-evaluation.
“We all have to take our share of the responsibility. First of all, me as the coach, then the players who step on to that pitch,” he said [via Football Italia].
“I think we gifted Bologna the game today and it’s not the first time. It happens often, both during the regular season and since the restart.
“There are certainly some situations and evaluations we need to look at. It’s not the first time and we have to ask ourselves questions now, both myself and the players.”
