Calvert-Lewin signs a new five-year deal with Everton

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has signed a new 5-year contract with Everton which will see him staying at the club till 2025.

Calvert-Lewin has been at the club since 2016. The 22-year-old has really come on his own ever since Ancelotti took over Everton.

He has played in 10 games under the manager and scored 8 goals for the team.

His total for the season so far in all competitions is 15 goals for the Toffees.

Speaking to the club’s official website evertonfc.com the player is very happy with his future being secure at Goodison Park.

The player said:

“It has been enjoyable for me since the start at Everton and I am enjoying every day coming into training and every minute on the football pitch.”

“The turnaround we have had since December is fantastic.”

“The belief in ourselves we are back up there and can compete with the best is well and truly there.”

“With a man like Carlo leading the ship, it makes it easier for us to believe in the process.”

“We want to be in Europe and competing in the top competitions.”

“It would mean that bit more to win trophies here because of the journey I have been on with Everton and Evertonians.”

“It feels personal and that is how I like it.”

“Personally, I want to get to that next level.”

“I like to think I have shown I am ready to live up to the expectations of being Everton’s number nine.”

“But I am well aware of how much I need to improve and how much better I can do.”

“I love where I am and the position I am in and I love playing for Everton Football Club.”
